Greenlighting it is leading the feminine revolution in a traditionally male orientated business. In 2013 the percentage of women within the organisation was 2%, in 2017 it reached 42%. This figure is set to rise with the opening of its Retail outlet in spring 2018. Women hold a variety of roles within the company from business development to accounts, operations and logistics. A variety of working patterns assist the female work force in juggling a career with having a family. HR manager Jane Oakes says “we respect the rights of all our staff to have home lives as well as careers. We have the ethos that when employees are happy, their work improves. It’s difficult to be contented in your job where you feel there is no flexibility to enjoy your home life. Policies that encourage women to return and remain in work benefits every aspect of our business.”
